La Porte Marine was for centuries, when the ramparts surrounded Antibes, the only porte opening on the harbor. Le tour du Cap d’Antibes - Promenade
Le chemin des douaniers
From the Garoupe car park, take the wide pedestrian path that borders the coast facing the old Antibes ramparts; The path soon gives way to a paved path that joins Cape Gros before going along the walls surrounding the large parks of the castles of Garoupe and Croé: the narrow paths run along the cliffs by passing small coves.
We thus get closer to the geographical Antibes cape, occupied by the Villa Eilenroc. Go back inland by the "custom footpath" delimited by two walls that separate landscaped parks with remarkable species, then follow the av. Beaumont to the main road of the cape to return to the car park.
